Bible Reading: Is it really hard to do?
Psalm 19:7-11
King James Version
7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
Excuses for not reading the Bible:
1. I can't understand the Bible
Even little children can understand the Bible, you don't need to worry about what you cannot understand, just obey what you CAN understand.
2. I don't know where to start
You don't have to use the "hit and miss" method, you can use a simple Bible reading plan.
3. I don't have time to read the Bible
If there's a will, there will always be a way, you can find time for the things that are important to you.
Read your Bible as if your life depends on it, because it does!
Remember: either we are going to be influenced by the world or we are going to be influenced by the WORD
An unread Bible means an unfed Christian.
Here's a song most of the children knew:
"Read your Bible and pray everyday.
And you'll grow, grow, grow."
Happy Bible reading everyone. God bless.
